About AddictionInfo
AddictionInfo is an educational publication about substance use, behavioral addictions, withdrawal, treatment, recovery and support for families. It aims to make urgent risks, levels of care, evidence and treatment-provider information easier to understand.
What we publish
- answer-first explainers about addiction, dependence and tolerance;
- alcohol, cocaine, cannabis, opioid, prescription-medication and other substance guides;
- safety-focused detoxification, withdrawal and overdose information;
- treatment, recovery and relapse-prevention guides;
- family support resources; and
- clinically framed comparisons of private and luxury rehab options.
What we do not do
We do not diagnose readers, provide emergency services, prescribe medication, guarantee outcomes or present accommodation and marketing language as evidence of clinical quality. We do not label a page “medically reviewed” unless a named, appropriately qualified reviewer has reviewed that version.
Our editorial model
Foundational health claims are checked against primary research, current clinical guidance and authoritative public-health sources. Treatment-provider details are checked against current official and regulator information where available. Pages show evidence-check dates, sources, clinical boundaries and urgent-help language where relevant.

Use the contact page to report a factual error, an inaccessible source, outdated clinical guidance or a page that needs further review.
